To provide people with a space to gather resources, serve, build community, and work together to collectively care for our neighbors
Our dedicated team of volunteers express a unique and unparalleled commitment to our four pillars:
It is through these four pillars that we provide food, clothing and educational resources in woodworking, textiles and sewing, jewelry and soap making, culinary, the arts and agriculture.
Milton & Synolve Craft are our founders. They began the organization as a grassroots effort in 2011 by providing clothing and food to individuals and families in need and our neighbors experiencing homelessness. Since that time, their efforts have continued to expand into self-sustainable measures such as farming and agriculture through Craft Farms to eradicate hunger and education on healthy and sustainable lifestyle activities.
Craft Organization provides hope and resources to individuals and families in the Mid-South area. In addition to providing food and clothing to our neighbors in the Mid-South, we also provide training in agriculture and woodworking.
Sow Green Sow Good GreenHouse Initiative | Education & Training | Social Entrepreneurship
Through our GreenHouse Initiative Craft Farms works with residents in our community to thrive by actively seeks local individual to utilize space in the greenhouse to learn to grow, market, and distribute their harvest such as vegetables. One of the most difficult barriers to overcome for low-income residents who wish to begin farming is space. As part of our greenhouse, our Co-Op growers’ program for low-income residents, Sow Green Sow Good will provide people with an opportunity to grow. Additionally, the Greenhouse provides place for children and youth to learn about farming and agriculture (Agribusiness) through summer programs, youth internships and Agritourism. Individuals, organizations, and businesses can sponsor a resident in our 6-8 month program. Our Co-Op of growers will receive food from the vegetables they grow as well as recipes and tips on how to prepare healthy meals. Our goal is to assist 10 families per year (5 in the spring, 5 in the fall) in order to help eradicate hunger and poverty.

We have a variety of products such as book ends, picture frames, candle holders, spa boxes, and much more.

Our signature program is Sow Green Sow Good which supports the nutritional needs of the Collierville and Midsouth community. We are a teaching and learning farm. Craft Farms focuses its efforts on three strategic foundations: education, community/economic development, and food access security. Individuals, companies, and organizations can support the farms in myriad of ways, including donations and CSAs. Craft Farms provides CSA opportunities where people can invest in the farm by purchasing product which helps the farm to be able to continue to produce high quality produce. Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a farming model based on a relationship between the farmer and the patrons or supporters of the farm. Our CSAs provide an opportunity for seniors and low income individuals and families to purchase food through our voucher program at The Farmers Market @ Craft Farms.
